How to setup OneDrive on Mac, and migrate your Private Egnyte drive.
These instructions work best on macOS Mojave; things may look a little different on other versions.
- Open a web browser to https://portal.office.com
- sign in with your [username]@hopewdm.org, and your password

- Click the "OneDrive" icon

- Click "Get the OneDrive apps"

- Click the Download link that shows up on the next page

- Open the PKG once it's downloaded

- Select all the default options, completing the installation

- Sign into OneDrive with your [username]@hopewdm.org when prompted:

- Enter your password when prompted:

- Click "Next" twice:

- Click "Open OneDrive - Lutheran Church of Hope folder"

- Get to a view where you can click on that folder

- Right-click on it, and select "Always keep on this device"

- Click the OneDrive icon in the top bar, and select "Preferences"

- Make sure "File on Demand" is turned ON. (If there's a button that says "Turn Off Files On-Demand", as shown, that's good - leave it alone. If the button says "Turn On Files On-Demand", click it, to turn it on.)

- Navigate to your Private Egnyte folder, and select everything*

- Right-click, and select "Copy [n] Items"

- Navigate to your personal OneDrive folder (from steps 12 & 13)
- Right-click, and hold the "option" down to see "Move [n] Items Here"; then, select the "Move [n] Items Here" option *before* letting go of the "option" key.

- Once you get green checkmarks for everything, the sync has finished.
* If you have a lot of stuff, we recommend moving it in smaller batches, rather than all at once.
